Due to popular demand, we now offer a variety of one-day and weekend camps throughout the year. People of any heritage are welcome to apply. No previous hunting or trapping experience is required.
There are no costs for participants as all expenses are generously covered by sponsors BME and Fort McKay Alcor.
Winter Trapping
Join us to experience the beauty of Northern Alberta while learning traditional winter trapping skills. With the guidance of Mel Grandjam, small groups will venture out on either a one-day or full-weekend trip to set and check traps. No previous experience is required but participants must enjoy spending time in the outdoors and be willing to learn new skills through hands-on experience.
No fees. Adults and youth (12+) are welcome to apply

Fall Hunting Camps
Apply now to join our fall traditional hunting camps in beautiful Northern Alberta. Guided by Chris Wilson, our groups will learn the basics for wilderness survival and traditional hunting methods. No previous experience is required but participants must enjoy spending time in the outdoors and be willing to learn new skills through hands-on experience.
